Bolzano Card
On arrival, our guests receive the Bolzano Card free of charge, your personal card for free use of:
- Mobility: public transport, regional trains, local buses, cable cars, narrow-gauge railroad, funicular railroad and hiking buses.
- Museums: admission to over 90 museums.
- Various services: Apple tour, bike and mountain bike tours, city tour, swimming pools, cable car, guided hike and hiking bus.
Leisure activities
Welcome to the picturesque south of South Tyrol, where our farm is a very good starting point for your leisure plans. Within a 5-minute walk you can reach the train station in Laives, from where you can get to Bolzano within 10 minutes. From there, use the numerous bus, train and cable car connections to explore our country.
Bathing
Off to one of the three lakes. Both Lake Caldato, the largest and warmest of the South Tyrolean bathing lakes, and the two romantic Monticolo lakes are just a 20-minute drive away.
Shopping
Whether for a stroll through the alleyways of the old town, a visit to the Ötzi Museum or a tour of the Runkelstein Castle, the provincial capital of Bolzano can be easily reached by train (200m to the station) in less than ten minutes.
Hiking
There are countless excursion destinations on offer: From the Leiferer Höhenweg to the famous Bletterbach gorge above Aldein, from the Rastenbachklamm in Altenburg near Kaltern to the Roßzähnen above Laimburg; every destination is worthwhile, if only because of the diversity of the landscape. Cycling
From our farm you can reach the Adige cycle path on a dirt road, which connects Bolzano with Trento and can be cycled along the banks of the Adige for approx. 60 km. You can also cycle to the lake of Caldato or to Bolzano, Bressanone and the spa town of Merano on the well-developed cycle path network. Take advantage of our free bike rental service!
